technical understanding of photography, including lighting, exposure, color,
composition, lenses, and post processing
Highest Quality Images: Certification means that the
photographer has had a large volume of his daily work (actual client portraits,
not "competition prints") critically reviewed by an independent panel of judges
from across the United States, and the images meet their very high standards for
excellence
Strict Rules of Conduct and Integrity: Certified Professional
Photographers are bound by the certifying body to uphold a very high level of
ethical conduct

achieving and maintaining the Certified Professional Photographer designation,
